GME: Surface maps based on the DWD's (German Weather Service) next generation global weather forecast model, called GME. The GME is using a 55 km horizontal resolution with 31 vertical levels. Only few of the modeled parameters are available to the general public. However, WeatherOnline is displaying them in the design of our own popular expert maps.
